Nick Delgado
Testicular Cancer
Nicholas Delgado born and raised in Fallon NV, 2 time state football champion and an overall exceptional person in the community, was diagnosed in May 2023 on his 22nd birthday with stage 4 testicular cancer that metastasized to his brain, lungs and abdomen. Since the diagnosis he has undergone 6 rounds of intense chemo, 2 rounds of radiation to the brain tumors, and a 2 month stay at UCSF hospital completing a double stem cell transplant. Recently he has endured seizures and more hospital stays. While things have been challenging, Nick is determined to not let this hold him back and continue living his life to full ability. While giving back to the community and starting to coach youth football hospital bills have not stopped. While we are not in the clear yet, we remain positive and hopeful during this long battle against cancer. We appreciate all the love and support during this time!
LeAnne Wallace
Leukemia
At just 16 years old, LeAnne Wallace is a remarkable young woman facing the challenge of ALL T-Cell leukemia with incredible strength and resilience. Her journey has been anything but easy, marked by extended hospital stays and countless rounds of chemotherapy. Despite these challenges, her spirit shines brightly, inspiring those around her with her unwavering courage and determination.
A passionate athlete, she has always excelled in sports like lacrosse, soccer, volleyball, basketball, and track. These activities have not only been her passion but also a source of strength and motivation during her treatment. Even when faced with difficult days, she finds joy in the memories of her time on the field and court, reminding herself of the goals she still wants to achieve.
Through her love for competition and teamwork, she continues to pursue her interests and dreams. Her journey is a testament to the power of hope, positivity, and the unbreakable spirit of a young woman who refuses to be defined by her illness. She is a true inspiration to all who know her.
